Community Action Partners (CAP) is a division of the City of Fort Worth's Neighborhood Services Department and receives Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funds and Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) funds.

Community Action Partners works with families & individuals to help them overcome barriers to achieve self-sufficiency. Through the 10 CAP centers throughout Tarrant County, the organization has helped families maintain and improve their quality of life.

CAPWORKS MISSION

CAPWORKS is a job development initiative through Community Action Partners focused on being proactive in addressing root cause(s) of poverty by developing a networking program to provide job training leading to employment and self-sufficiency for low-income individuals and ultimately to stronger, more sustainable communities.


SELF-SUFFICIENCY

CAPWORKS offers a comprehensive range of services consisting of workforce development and life skills activities benefiting job seekers — adults, youth and new entrants to the workforce. !The objective of the program is to meet employers’ needs by increasing employment, job retention, earnings, and occupational skills among all job seeker populations.
